Bin Collection

 Information

Cambridge Park is located in Penrith City Council which

provides local household waste and recycling collections.

For households using Council’s standard three bin kerbside service:

* Red lid – rubbish

Fortnightly

* Yellow lid – mixed recycling

Fortnightly

* Green lid – food and garden organics

Weekly

Your red bin frequency depends on the service selected

for your property.

Use the green FOGO bin for food scraps and garden

clippings, the yellow bin for accepted loose recyclables,

and the red bin for remaining household rubbish.

Some larger complexes use Council’s Collect and Return

service.

About Cambridge Park

Cambridge Park is an established residential suburb in the

Penrith area of Western Sydney, close to Kingswood, Cambridge

Gardens and Werrington Downs.

Lincoln Park is one of the suburb’s local outdoor spaces,

combining a playground with an area of Shale Plains Woodland.

Its play facilities include swings, a slide and a rope climbing

structure, with seating and picnic space for families.

The playground has a local story, too:

students from Cambridge Park Public School helped design

the playspace through Council’s Penrith Mayoral Challenge

program in 2017. Their involvement helped shape a park for

the surrounding community.

Between school routines, work, shopping and time at home, checking

the collection calendar can be easy to overlook.
