provides household waste and recycling collections.

Place your bins out the evening before your collection day,

Food scraps and garden clippings belong in the green FOGO bin.
Put accepted recyclables loose in the yellow bin, and use the
red bin for remaining household rubbish that cannot go
into the other two.
About Emu Plains
Emu Plains sits on the western side of the Nepean River,
at the foot of the Blue Mountains.
Its established residential streets and riverside setting give
it a distinct character within the Penrith area.
The Nepean River is a familiar place for walking and spending
time outdoors. Regatta Park provides a local access point to the
river, and the Penrith Heritage Walk crosses into Emu Plains before
finishing at Emu Plains Station.
The railway station connects the suburb with the wider rail
network, while nearby Penrith offers shops and services across the river.
Between commuting, family commitments and jobs around the house,
checking the bin calendar can slip down the list.
Bin Reminder helps Emu Plains households keep their collection
routine in mind with a prompt the evening before the bins are due.
