Bin Collection
Information
Heathcote Junction is within Mitchell Shire Council.
For households receiving Council’s standard four bin
kerbside service, collections follow these intervals:
* Food and garden organics FOGO – weekly
* General rubbish – fortnightly
* Mixed recycling – fortnightly
* Glass recycling – monthly
These frequencies follow Council’s four bin guide.
Your property’s calendar determines the collection day
and which bins are due together.
We check your address rather than assuming every street in
Heathcote Junction follows the same schedule.
Put your bins out the evening before collection,
with the wheels facing away from the road.
Leave about half a metre between bins and other
objects, avoid parked vehicles and low branches, and
keep the lid closed.
About Heathcote Junction

closely connected community in southern Mitchell Shire.
The local railway station reflects the area’s railway history,
Heathcote Junction was once the junction for branch lines
towards Kilmore, Heathcote and Bendigo.

remembering a changing bin schedule can slip down the list.
